These two photos are of the Melbourne Athenaeum. This is a beautiful heritage building that is one of the iconic buildings in Melbourne. It hadn’t been painted for a long time and required significant preparation before we could even think about getting the paint out. We cleaned and scraped back unstable paint and undercoated prior to painting. To view more photos please visit our project page here.
Our hard work was recognised by Master Painters Association when they awarded us an Excellence in Painting Award in 2016 for the painting of this building.
The above photo is of a fabulous home we painted in Clifton Hill. This was a very complex project due to the power, height, working with other trades and council requirements. There was also significant preparation required as the house hadn’t been painted for many years. We organised a carpenter and roof plumbers and managed them as part of the project. We also managed obtaining power company and council permits as well as organizing scaffolding.
The photo is of a stripe we painted on a wall for our client in West Melbourne. We painted a few of these stripes and our client was very happy. They are a little time-consuming to paint as we have to ensure the lines are actually straight!
This interior shot is a bedroom of a stunning period home we painted in Brunswick East. The colour scheme was updated to Dulux Natural White which looks fantastic in this room and throughout the house.
These 2 photos are from a substantial 2-storey heritage home we painted in East Melbourne. There was alot of ornate plaster work and woodwork which required sanding, filling and gapping prior to painting.
