We received a 2023 painting award for this fabulous home we painted in Northcote, very close to Moonee Ponds. The rear of the house is a modern extension and the front is the original heritage home. Apart from the usual preparation of sanding, filling and gapping, we also washed and sanded a lot of oiled timber and brought it back to life using Sikkens Cetol HLS. Much of the timber was black or heavily weathered and had to be washed multiple times and sanded prior to recoating. For more information on this project, please click here to see our project page.

Master Painters Award

This photo is of the Melbourne Athenaeum. We painted the exterior of this beautiful heritage building in the Melbourne CBD and were thrilled to receive a painting award for the project in 2016. Click here for more information on this project.

Before and after photos of a heritage 2-storey home we painted in Moonee Ponds. The timber was in quite poor condition, so we organised a carpenter to replace rotten weatherboards and timber. We stripped some timber because old lead paint was causing bubbling and followed our lead paint protocols while completing this work. We painted 2 sides of this house in Moonee Ponds. We painted the remaining white walls pink and painted the metal balustrading and security door black.
