We received this 2023 award for the painting of this substantial 2-storey home in St Kilda East, a suburb very close to Hughesdale. It was in very poor condition with a lot of bubbling and peeling, so we had to strip paint and apply an oil-based undercoat prior to painting. We received this 2022 painting award for the painting of this beautiful heritage home in Ormond, very close to Hughesdale. We have included before and after photos. The quality preparation and painting, together with the modern colour scheme, transformed this home from heavy and dark to light and airy. We completed substantial preparation and applied an oil-based undercoat to most surfaces prior to painting.

The above photos are of the Malvern Heart Centre. We painted both the interior and exterior following the renovation of this iconic building in Malvern East. These photos are of a property we painted in Carnegie. It was quite complex to paint because of difficulty accessing various areas. We used scaffolding around the rear and a boom in the driveway. The painting has brought the property back to life and freshened its appearance.

House in Ormond

This photo is of a period home we painted in Murrumbeena. It was in very poor condition and required significant preparation, including filling, gapping, sanding and stripping paint in some areas prior to painting.

House in Toorak — This photo is from an apartment we painted in Toorak. It is a modern, open-plan room. The apartment was in good condition and did not require the same amount of preparation as an older building.

Some stunning interior photos of a heritage house we painted in Bentleigh over the years. We painted both the interior and exterior. Our clients eventually sold their lovely home and it was presented beautifully.

Hughesdale 3166

Hughesdale is a small Melbourne suburb situated 18kms south-east of the CBD. It is part of the City of Monash and has a population of approximately 7,000 people.

It is named after James Hughes, a former mayor of the City of Oakleigh who strongly advocated for a new railway station in the mid-1920s. The suburb grew after the railway station opened in 1925.

Many streets in the area are named after railway stations in England, including Rugby Road, Euston Road, Crewe Road, Swindon Road, Paddington Road, Clapham Road, Bletchley Road, Willesden Road, Carlisle Crescent, Preston Road, Skipton Road, Dalston Road and Camden Road.
