We painted this substantial heritage home in Altona during 2022 – please see the before and after shots below.

The house was overdue for maintenance and painting. Some of the timber had been replaced and other areas required significant preparation, particularly windows and some timber that we stripped prior to oil undercoating and painting.

We electric sanded all timber and stripped some weatherboards. Given the age of the property we applied our lead paint policies especially when stripping paint.

We assisted with colour selection to achieve colour coverage and used Builders White for the trim, Dulux Silkwort for the weatherboards & fence posts and Dulux Stepney for the fence pickets.

Our clients are so happy the house now reflects who they are and has been transformed from dated and heavy to modern and contemporary.
